Another Alternative Revenue Stream: Illinois Artisans Program

In keeping with C3’s program series on alternative revenue streams, we have some information on the Illinois Artisans Program. The State of Illinois is looking for new talent to join the program, which draws national and statewide attention to talented artists of Illinois. All areas of arts and crafts, including folk, traditional, contemporary, and ethnic, as well as fine art forms are eligible. The program touts more than 1,800 jury-selected artists. Once selected, your work can be shown at one or more Illinois Artisans locations, including the Thompson Center in Chicago. The next jury application deadline is March 28.
