Communicate Your Value
Advanced Basics for Creative Businesses, Program 2
Every creative has something special to offer their prospective clients, something they do better or differently than their peers. How do you best communicate that to prospective clients, so they can see the value to them in hiring you?
Our speaker, Chicago photographer Alex Garcia, has been on creative teams that have been awarded a Pulitzer Prize (journalism) and a Titanium Lion (Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity in advertising)! He will share his philosophy on how to bring others to see your creative vision.
Both a commercial photographer and photojournalist, Alex has told over 6,000 stories through his work. He is a professor with the School of Visual Arts in New York, and previously, an adjunct lecturer at the Northwestern University Medill Graduate School.
Although Alex will speak from his experiences as a photographer and director, his vision has applicability for creatives in other fields, as well. Come join Chicago Creative Coalition and Alex Garcia and learn how to tell your story.
